This is not mine, for sale in "Newell Coach Owners Group" on FaceBook.

1987 40’ Newell Classic. What a Grand Lady this is and a very unique build. Very few others, if any, were built with a 3” raised roof and without a mid-coach ‘girdle’ of horizontal aluminum, affording a paint scheme that leaves one believing it to be much newer than reality. On the inside, a complete gut and refurbish, resulting in a bright and cheery atmosphere, again eliciting the sense of being in a much later model coach. Add the 3” of headroom and it’s akin to the feeling derived from being in a home with ten-foot ceilings. The downside of this coach is that it has been dormant and outdoors for over a decade and the clear-coat and some of the paint have paid the price. The upside, it’s located in a very dry climate. Nonetheless, mechanically it has been exercised and runs well. It is offered for sale in Calgary, Canada. Send an email to [email protected] and I’m happy to return-send you a detailed package description and many more photos. Please indicate from where you are contacting me, as I have it listed locally as well. Approximately 160,000 miles. Asking $35,500

First time post. Purchased coach 445 1997 a year ago which needed some long overdue TLC. Needless to say, it has been quite the learning experience familiarizing myself with all the intricacies of each operating system. I received no manuals or pamphlets on how each system works. This site has been a wealth of information helping me fix some  of the problems. One of my many fixes was the central basement a/c unit. I removed the unit from the coach and rebuilt it. I replaced both condenser and evaporator motors, fan blades, capacitors, and relays. I moved the relays off the board per suggestions from other members. I re-installed the unit and fired it up. Everything works great except the evaporator fan runs continuously even when the thermostat is in the off position. Does anybody have any suggestions as to why the fan runs all the time?

Hi All,
Was just troubleshooting my 12V Air Compressor in the Aquahot bay. I traced a bunch of wires through some looms into this silver box. No markings on it. Upon closer inspection and disassembly it looks like it has some burn spots. Back probing the plug shows Red wire is 12v Hot and the one next to it is 12 Neg. The other two have about 1 volt less on them but appear to be both Positive.

Any idea what this does??

I believe the fuse for the 12V compressor is under a carpeted box velcroed to the wall in a driver's side bay across from my inverter mountings.

Thanks!

Have any gurus seen “6159 - unknown error” on SilverLeaf panel for inverter error? I have an intermittent error that comes and goes… not sure what is cause and haven’t figured out the performance issue it creates either. I will try to post a picture of my SilverLeaf panel with the error. Thanks for any insights.

I want to use an external air compressor temporally to provide air pressure to the coach. I can't find an input for the air.
I have 2 air outlets in the PS engine bay. High pressure and Pnuematic tools .
I think those are outputs thru an air pressure increaser.
is there a plug to put air in to the system (like when you have to tow the RV)

#760
Thanks in advance

I had drained my water system while doing plumbing work over the winter. Now with the plumbing completed, I put water in the tank (Gravity). I also replaced the o-rings on the pump inlet and outlets with vaseline. No leaks. Is there a trick to getting the pumps to pump? Plumbing system works with city pressure but pumps are dry as seen through clear braided hoses. (Replaced those too) Fuses are not out and switch is on next to microwave. I also have a "Selector" switch that I happen to discover today. What is that one for?!

Thanks guys. I was impressed that I now have a working and leak free toilet, shower and sink.
