Coach 643 has an SCS A/C-Heater "suitcase" unit behind the dash for the dash air and I'm finding out that just like those of us that have the SCS basement units almost no parts are available for this particular dash unit.
Has anybody out there replaced the Evaporator Coil in there SCS dash A/C-Heater unit?
I'm specifically looking for SCS part# 041-00150?
A fellow guru (Mageeacres) asked about engine manuals for CAT 3208, here I dug up so far. Let me know if you need anything else specific.
I can also get the parts manual (CAT calls it "Parts Book"), but it will take some time and effort, as it needs captured or scanned page by page.
1 file failed to upload, the file is above 150 Mb, and I am getting an error message saying "maximum size 20.97mb".
I will load to my dropbox and update with a shared link.
update:
dropbox folder contains the large files that could not be uploaded here due to file size limitations.

Stumbled across this video, halfway through you run into an experienced Prevost technician who has removed a bunch of push on fittings and replaced them with compression fittings.
Seems like Newell isn't the only one with that curse.

I learned tonight that we lost Dean in January.
https://www.raderfh.com/obituaries/Dean-Patterson-6/
Dean was a long time Newell owner, and had attended a few of the Non Rally Rallies.
I first met him at Tyler State Park in 2007 quite by accident. His Newell was there attending a Dutch oven cooking get together.
Many of us will remember his biscuits and gravy cooked in Dutch ovens, which he served in Ruidoso.
I have fond memories of Dean. I learned very quickly that he didn't talk a lot, but when he did, it was best to listen. He knew his stuff on the coach workings.
I have collected and now posting some manuals for Caterpillar Engines, covering C10, C12, C15 engines.
I understand some Newell coaches have CAT, some others have Cummings, or Detroit Diesel in them.
Million thanks and credit to user Geoff1 (David & Jodi, owner of coach #695) for his time and effort to scanning his manual.
Attached is the OCRd scan version, thus we have reduced file size and it is text searchable.

Saw this on Facebook today. $585k with 185,000 miles.

I stumbled into this.
Look on page 230 for Newell info.

Interestingly enough, the catalog shows the IFS 84 was used on Country Coaches, Monacos, Foretravel, and some Prevost.
I am going to do some investigation to see if Prevost has parts.
Now whether or not, you could actually buy parts is a different question.

Hello everyone!
I was recently looking at the website Tymacrepo.com and noticed they have 2 Newell coaches (2001 & 2003) listed. I have seen both coaches listed on RVTrader.com for over 3 months+. The 2003 Newell has recently been unlisted on RVTrader (The seller was asking for $150,000). I was wondering if anyone had any experience with Tymacrepo.com or know anyone who did? The price on both of the Newells (to buy out & completely skip the auction) seems too low for me, especially during this time. On the other hand, I'm aware that repossession companies usually offer lower prices in order to get rid of the inventory in their hands.
Link to the listing: https://tymacrepo.com/product/2003-newell-coach-647/
This will be my first motorcoach if the website turns out to be legitimate, the company behind this listing offers a 14-day Return/Refund policy for the sale. I have been researching about the most costly repairs for a while on these coaches, but I believe that the most solid advice could be found while listening to experienced RVers such as yourselves. In your opinion, what would be the items that you check first? I'm not mechanically inclined but I'm always willing to learn.
Thank you in advance for all the information,
Matt
