Went to RV yesterday and found air system completely down. Located a leak in the 120V compressor compartment on a small silver/black component on the sidewall. It is about 2 inches long by 1 inch wide, mounted to the sidewall near the compressor with two plug on electrical connections and an air supply from the compressor exhaust(?) side. The air supply runs through another component before reaching the part leaking. There is a full-blown air leak from the bottom of this small component which has drained the entire system.
I have tried to post pictures but obviously need some guidance on how to post.
Thanks!!
This is another picture with the part in question outlined by the crude blue box.
Thank you.
We finally made it down to Humble TX to pick up our 2018 Newell coach.
Have spent most afternoon learning just about all the outside information.
Just crazy about the coach and super excited to start the drive home tomorrow.
It has been 4 months since I first saw this coach in my hospital bed recovering from covid in October.
Took a while to get everything lined up but like all great things it sometimes takes time.

For those of you who still have a gauge on the side of the gold anodized hydraulic system control box, what pressure do you see with the engine running?
Asking for a friend
How is everyone doing? Its been sometime since posting, but we are now at a point with our Newell that we are ready to buy a Toad. The girlfriend says to buy something practical (she is the smart one) but I want something neat, classic, and can go of road if we go camping in a neat spot. so long story short I love the classic Fj40 and Fj45 land-cruiser! Anyone own one or have experience flat towing one?
We actually still had the JetPaq pump still in the coach....I am guessing since new. It went to a low flow condition and would not recover. Started looking into replacements and read about the problems associated with the Head Hunter i.e. only lasting three years....yikes that is a big hit. So that started my quest to find something else. Wanted something without a microprocessor, AC powered, similar specs. Since the JetPaq had an accumulator built in I wanted to include one in my replacement. Found this pump that was close on Amazon, DC HOUSE 42-Series Upgrade 110V AC Water Pressure Pump 5.0GPM 55PSI with Plug Self Priming RV Water Pump 110 Volt, with a four year warranty. Also picked up a two gallon stainless steel tank with a pre-charged bladder off Ebay....https://www.ebay.com/itm/361337105543. Built up a cradle to set the pump on and attached it to the tank. Had many of the fittings and pipe on hand to complete the installation. The pump was $90 the tank $55 I am guessing fittings $50.....$200 we are up and running. The noise is similar to the DC pump and runs off the inverter giving us options as needed.

By now, most of you know about the catastrophic fire that consumed Andrew & Shea's coach, taking with it, all of their contents and belongings that they had packed up as they moved Shea out of her house.
After the incident, I told Andrew that I can't let his experience go without using it for the good of others; to help bring the awareness of fire safety to the forefront. It makes me sick to see the negativity and evil in others.
So, I felt compelled to stay up 'til 2am to get this video out, because it was a way for me to help, as well as for my own good to "heal" from all the wounds that others are leaving.
Just because I retired from the profession doesn't mean I will ever stop trying to help save one life, or someone's property through education.
I welcome any discussion, comments, or questions.

This is unabashed coach pimpage, I admit.
It is also a tale about scope creep, but one with a good outcome. I had a Sony head unit, that was connected to a remote CD player. These days Rhonda and I just hooked our phones through a AUX in cable to listen to tunes. When it became time to switch phones to permit fair play time for HER music, I did not like her standing up in front of the windshield to switch the phones. That glass is not going to hold anyone in if you hit something. So I started to search for a Bluetooth radio that would wirelessly pair with the phones. Simple enough, right?
Well, the hole for the original is single DIN size, so that really limited the selection.
And then I wanted Sony so that the passenger control stalk on her side worked with the radio.
And then I wanted Apple CarPlay compatibility.
And then I wanted rear view camera capability.
And then I wanted an equalizer to fix the sound balance between the speakers and the subwoofer.
And I found such a unit.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0971W...UTF8&psc=1
Wait, how does a 9 inch screen work with a single DIN opening? The body of the unit is single DIN and the screen attaches on the front with some adjustability up and down, plus tilt adjustment. The install was pretty straightforward EXCEPT the single DIN opening had to be moved 1/4 in to the left to prevent the screen from hitting the TV outcropping. That was simple enough using an oscillating saw.
As you can seen, I was able to install without obscuring any lights or switches.
The Apple CarPlay gives me the Maps on the screen, plus Siri control of Music, Phone, and hands free texting.
Tim at RVcam hooked me up with some adaptor cables so that I could use the existing Sony cable to the rear with the new head unit. That saved having to run a new cable from front to back. That was easier than trying to frankencobble a wireless adapter to the head unit. I ran the power leads including backup from the old camera location across to the left A pillar and into the head unit.
Well, what to do with the hole left by the old monitor? How about installing a speaker there to match the one on the other side? But that would require an amp, and RCA cables to the amp. In for a penny in for a pound. So I ran more cables down the A pillar, and installed the amp in the center of the console. I was lucky that power and ground was already there in the interior of the console from a long ago abandoned Motorola phone system.
Seriously, I never expected to find something that works so well in integrating all of the different functions I was hoping for. And the work to install was far less than it could have been.
And yes, I did get a color camera upgrade for the back. That’s next on the install list.
The only downside I can see is now I will be hearing a lot more of 80s music.
So

New milestone for scalable, cost-effective technology fuels a greener future for hard-to-decarbonize heavy-duty sector
Geneva, IL, February 10, 2022 — ClearFlame Engine Technologies, a company empowering rapid decarbonization for global heavy-duty industry, announced today it has successfully completed an ‘on-road’ demonstration of its proprietary technology that enables a heavy-duty truck diesel engine to operate on 100% renewable plant-based fuels. The validation of ClearFlame’s technology marks a critical milestone in the company’s objective to revolutionize carbon emissions within heavy-duty transportation, one of the hardest sectors to electrify and decarbonize.
