I was washing my 1996 coach and broke off the nipple that the windshield wiper hose connects to on the front of the coach.   I have the dual arm wiper and I would like to know how I can get behind the fiberglass front to put in a new nob and hook up the hose?  Can I pull out the wiper assemble by removing the bolt and then prying it away from the fiberglass front?  It looks like it is sealed with putty, so not sure I want to pull it out if there is a different way. Any advice?

Hey folks, Hope everyone is well. I am seriously seeking a 2005/6/7 Newell. We want quad slides, full refrigerator/freezer (not drawers only), washer and a dryer. Prefer front entry. We upped our budget to cover the '06 and '07 models.  Anyway, if anyone knows of one of these that may be coming up, I'm interested.

I contacted Motorcoach Store and Motorhomes of Texas and they both say they have no leads but will let me know.


BTW, I have missed some units because the incoming sales person sells it before it even hits the rest of the sales staff.

Finally! Found someone to do R and R on my motor. Looking to update gauges for accuracy wondering what people have used. Thinking of temp and pressure gauges that have both digital readout and needle.....and alarm set at 200 for water temp?..any input would be welcomed

Anyone have the SCS 1301 Single compressor air conditioner manual? I'd love to have anything, User guide, service, installation.. whatever you have.

Hi everyone!  Just put a deposit on a 2002 coach and am wondering if anyone knows the history?  It is #636.  We are excited to be part of the Newell family.

Morning everyone, seems theres a rumbling under the stairs when the aquahot furnance is on. Looks like the air intake is pulled from under the stairs to feed air to the furnace. Have not found anyone discussing replacment or repair of this air intake fan. Any advise? Might be due to under use from the old owner, will run for a bit to see if the fan noise goes down. My Generator seems to run pretty hot.  Granted it's pretty hot here in Tulsa.  If I run all the systems on high it ran up to 200 after about an hour.  I switched both units to low it was running 192/194 (outdoor 90+ ambient with high humidity).

I'm not clear on what temp range I should take action on.  Is 200 something your can run at for any length of time.  Seems too high.


I have had Newell look at it several times.  They had the radiator redone (outside vendor).  Does not seem to have changed anything.


I have the standard 4 basement units.  Powertech Generator (20kw)

    I am going to be traveling back from Albuquerque, New  Mexico to Upstate New York around the 24th of June and figured I'd get my need/want list out there so if anyone has anything (or needs something I have) that's on the way I could pick up.

I would love to have

Wall mounted cabinet/table (no need to be extendable, but a cabinet would be nice (thinking of converting to a fireplace)
2 Eurostyle recliner chairs (the kind without the ottomans)

Dinette with Table OR a slide in villa style table, and mount...usually motorized for the existing couch/dinette. A picture is on my greetings message..it's a bit hard to explain.

  So my 1996 Series 60 would be DDEC III and has the HD4060 trans.I believe.

So the question is... is that ONLY J1708 or is J1939 data piggy backed on it with two more pins? I won't be at the coach for a few weeks, but am putting together a monitoring package that would work and give me maximum data (PIDS)

Likely I will hard wire the box, but may just bet a molex connector and wire that instead so i can remove if needed/wanted.

Has anyone tried the Bluefire version rather than the VMSPC? I like the idea of having it also displayable with an Anrdroid tablet since I have a few lying around and Bluetooth option is nice to have so you could potentially bring the tablet back by the engine while working on it.

With bluefire i have to figure out which one to buy AND figure out what adapter to get (from another company, no less!)
