For you bargain hunters who are mechanically inclined and possibly closer to the East coast than I am, this coach looks like an absolute steal for $2,500.

Hey guys I am looking for an answer from those of you that have a steerable tag. I have a real tight spot where I park my current rig (40') and I am wondering if when backing up an 04/05 tag will help me to squeeze in.

Now I have not driven a Newell yet. I did however speak to someone in service at Newell and I was told it does! Everything that I have tried to find online says no. 

Can anyone confirm for me? I'm going to buy an 04 or 05 anyway but boy it would be nice if that is true.

Just completed replacing our four #9004 halogen headlight lamps with Super Bright #9004-HLV5 LED lights. They look to be twice as bright
and don't cause the dash mounted voltmeter to indicate in the red when the headlights are on. Our 1991 #277 coach has Ford truck headlights and turn signal housings.

In order to mount the new LED lights, you must trim the plastic headlamp retaining to a maximum width of 0.9125". Remember to trim the back of the retaining ring. The narrower ring allows clearance from the LED cooling fins. I trimmed mine on a circular saw very carefully!

Also, if you need to replace a front turn signal socket, a NAPA # 787131 part is an exact replacement.

Howdy all,

About an hour ago at 1200 AZ Time on 25 Jan 2020, I update the forum to most recent version to fix vulnerabilities.  If you see any goofy things, problems, or stuff that worked before and isn't now, let me know here so I can take a look at it.

My bedroom air seal had rolled and was coming out of the gap between the slide and the coach. I went through the  process of pulling the slide in to expose the seal and got most of it clear and reinstalled. There is a section about 4’ long though that is stuck under the slide between the bottom of the slide and the floor. It seams to be twisted and trapped under there. 
Has anybody had this issue. I was thinking about jacking up the slide a bit and maybe free it up. Has anybody ever tryed jacking up the slide and if so were and how did you jack it. I was thinking a 4x4 to spread the load or maybe at the spots we’re  the slide runs on the shim plates
I have attached a photo showing how twisted the seal is and I can only believe that what’s trapped underneath is just as twisted.

Ok, This is my first post and not very good at this but my brother and sister in law Jeff and Pam have incouraged me to get my question answered here.We have coach 502 double slide that we bought from our friends that we traveled with for years and we've been touching up small things and learning about the systems . The one thing that isn't working is the head hunter mach 5,it comes on but no pressure.So I have read the post about the head hunter and priming it.I took the priming plug out and its below the water level in the tank so water came out so is it primed? I took it out and pulled the pump side off to see anything obvious it looked good to me.And also the 12 v pump won't shut off after the demand and no obvious leaks.Is there a exploded veiw of the head hunter?

Hello All, my wife and I just purchased a 72 Newell Coach with  391 FT and Allison MT40 6 speed. Block is busted but turns over. We have lots of work to do and looking forward to all the adventures this RV will take us. I'll post some pics and more questions for all you 70's model gurus, especially some suggestions on what drivetrain I should convert to or rebuild the existing 391!

Hello Gurus,

Fairly new here. What is the correct travel height on our coaches? Mine seems pretty low in the back end. The hitch seems to drag quite often going across curbs and backing up a small incline.
