for some reason, the counter on the small table behind the passenger seat had a huge overhang on the front towards the passenger seat. it makes the seat hard to turn around and the seat hits it.
so....figured i would cut it down. there is a corian fabricator very near to our place here in the boonies so he is cutting it down in place. (we couldnt get it off without breaking it).
thought it would be easy and it is triple edged and looked solid. ends up to save a pound or two, there is a hollow section that happens to be right where i needed a solid edge.
so, he is going to fill it in with pieces of what he cut off and then bull nose the edge to match the others.
i tented off the area, but it still made a real mess....
he will come back on thursday to finish it.

I just returned from Creede Colorado , and during the mountain driving I un hooked the fan relay in back so it would run high all of the time. I noticed the following during a 7 mile climb up a significant grade pulling a stacker weighed at about 17500, the highest I got was 217 degrees. I did manually keep the RPMs in the 17-1800 range. It hit 217 briefly twice then backed down.
Conversely 2 years ago similar grade actually got a little hotter than that without unplugging fan..
Question is there a reason to have it run 2 speeds would hi all the time be better not just in the mountains.?
We had a problem with the AC not stopping when it reached the set number, plus other little problems. We sent the board to Victory for rebuild. Now if you are in Tulsa, OK. it's not fun without AC, so my son who is an AC tech wired one compressor and both fans up direct. We control the temp by using the big breaker box in back bedroom. So far it's working great. My first attempt to fix the problem was a new thermostat from Newell. We decided to move the one from the bedroom to the front and put the new one in the bedroom. Guess what the one from the back which was working great didn't work right when we moved it to the front. So I have a good spare thermostat now. It's nice to have a son who knows AC.
my 50dn voltage varies from 12v to 14v. i did all the tests that ELREG said to try and hopefully it is the voltage regulator.
but....the original and all the delco remy replacements for the 12v regulator are no longer made. but ELREG out of canada makes a replacement one i ordered and just got.
i will put it on tomorrow and see for sure if it fixed my problem. 200 bucks is alot cheaper than 1200 bucks.

Can anyone tell me anything about coach 443
Is there a section like this? Although on other forums stuff probably gets cross-posted due to this being unorganized but it's fun to read through...
