Driving in the rain yesterday my passenger side wipers stopped. It went all the way to the right. When it was running I could hear a click-clack sound and then it stopped. This morning I removed the dash cover and could see the motor, which is hard to get too. The driver side motor is much easier. I pushed the wiper back to the center of windshield and cut on the wipers and it went to right but did not come back. Probably the gears are shot. Has anyone had this problem and replaced the motor?

Left last night from WI headed to Pierce City MO to drop off the coach for a re power.
Pulled in for a few hours of sleep at a truck stop in Paris, MO.
The 903 is running ok, but smoking a bit more than usual, so far so good, less than 3 hours to go after breakfast is over.

I just bought 2 new 8D house batteries. A while back I read an article in FMCA about adding mineral oil to batteries. If I recall, about 4 oz per cell. Is anyone here running "oiled" batteries? What are experiences if so?

Hi guys
We're on our maiden voyage since I started the remodel. We are in West Virginia at the moment. The fuel solenoid on the 20k yanmar won't open. I can start it by holding it open and it will stay running. I'm guessing I need a new fuel solenoid. Can somebody help with a part number. I may try to buy one and change it in the rest stop. Thx

Hello-
We just completed the 1200 mile trip back to our home in Jacksonville, FL this past weekend from Michigan, where we became the proud new owners of #535. The previous owners, Serge & Carol, were terrific and the coach was even better than we expected. Our next excursion is already planned... a trip to Daytona International Speedway for a race weekend. I'm surely looking forward to chilling in #535 after getting out of the race car! We hope to meet some other owners and become regular contributors. Thanks All

I'm having a problem with the air level system.
1983 coach.
There is no air to the front in either the manual toggle level setting or travel setting.
The rear works fine in both positions.
I have solenoids in the engine compartment as well as in a forward compartment on the driver side.
Is there one solenoid that sends air to the front? It would seem unusual for 2 or more fail at the same time.
I haven't had any problems or spent any time with the air system yet.
Any ideas for a quick fix?
I'm hoping to leave home for a 9-10 hour trip to MO after work on Friday.
Thanks
Scott

Hey folks: thinking of changing my engine coolant and installing need-release filter. Do those of you with V92 engines have these filters or not? If you do where are the connections made to the engine, I can't figure that out.

Gang,
I have read this thread regarding air compressor problems but have not found my solution Air Compressor Problems
My compressor runs, but does not seem to put air into the system.
Symptoms:
1) Air compressor runs but does not pump up tank.
2) With 120V air compressor "ON" I can completely run out of air overnight.
3) Engine can "pump up" system in a few minutes.
4) The 120V compressor runs for a long time but *does* turn off eventually. (It does not feel hot).
5) If I put my thumb over the outgoing air from the compressor I can feel pressure and hear the pump load up. I let go of thumb and can feel a little air and the pump unloads.
6) If I pull wires from the head pressure relief solenoid with pump running, air is vented from the port. (No air vented with wires attached)
I took the check valve out and blew on one end and then the other. It lets air go in only one direction.
I have included pictures along with a diagram of the connections. Any ideas?
ps. On a side note, is there a problem with using 1/4" and 3/8" tubing? It seems as if the 1/4" would restrict air flow.
Thanks,
bill

Hi all.. How would you characterize the power of the 1160 motor when it's running well? I understand it's the predecessor to the CAT 3208NA -- I've heard lots of Wanderlodge owners saying their almost bullet proof but not fast -- as long as you're not in a hurry. Is that more or less the case with a well maintained 1160? Do they have sufficient power to tow a minivan or something like that or is towing not really a good idea with this engine.. Sorry for the stupid questions..
