Hey guys, Gary and I are in Santa Fe at Trailer Ranch in town. Come on by if you're in the area! Susie and Gary

PS. Has anyone heard from Carol Brooks? She wrote a long msg about learning to drive the Newell from Glenn at Newell. I just did the same thing and would like to connect with her. I sent her a pm a few months ago but haven't heard from her and she doesn't appear to be posting.

Recently, a question was posed by a Guru as to the shortest Newell with a slide. Realizing that there are about 15 Newells made since 1989 that I do not have a valid VIN for and therefore don't know the exact length, the shortest Newell with a slide that I am aware of (unless I have a VIN error) is 39' 6". That is a 2015, coach #1505. After that, there are five that I am aware of that are 40' 6":

#616, a 2002 double slide
#652, a 2003 (# of slides unknown)
#724, a 2005 (# of slides unknown)
#748, a 2005 triple slide with a STEERABLE TAG
and #1471, a 2013 (double slide with a STEERABLE TAG)

We would like to install a TV in one of the bays. The bay next to the midentry door has two holes where it looks like a TV swivel had been. Also, electrical plug next to it and cable wires on the other side of the bay. We also have a Norcold freezer in that bay. Wondering if they put the freezer in and took the tv out.

However, IF we install a TV with a swivel it appears that we would have to have the door closed. No problem, unless someone needs to exit or enter the coach. Then close the bay door with the TV, and then open the midentry door.

Also, as my husband says, "I am the driver, not the mechanic." So, what would it entail to attach a Tv, which we already have. And how would it be possible to connect it to our satellite? Please excuse our ignorance! Thanks, Susie

I took the coach out of storage about two weeks ago. This week I have had it parked in a campground that Clark is staying at for the week. The weather didn't exactly cooperate with us but we did manage to get a couple projects done. Yesterday when I went out there are intention was to take the coach to have two new batteries installed and then do some other repairs. However after we took the coach off level and started it and never came up to ride height. We put it on the leveling system and brought it manually up. After turning off the leveling switch the driver side sunk to the ground. The passenger-side did stay aired up. We did this several more times the driver-side kept collapsing. So we left it on air level and air it up and drove it over to the garage that usually does repairs on it for me.

When we first got the coach two years ago we redo all of the air valves in the back engine compartment. There is a forward babe by the front tire on the passenger side that has another six pack of air valves that are actually different looking visual see in the pics that I will post. I need to figure out what type of these are and buy new ones to replace them since they're obviously original I'm probably going to go bad eventually. Wondering though if anybody has any ideas of the symptoms Of this issue and what might've caused it. Still not exactly clear in my head how the solenoids work with the air leveling valves and who commands who to do what etc.

I'm installing new flooring & having a difficult time remove the doghouse. I've removed 3 screws that hold it down in the center. I don't think it is attached to the dash?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

I recently replaced my Roadmaster Brakemaster model 9160 two car brake system with a SMI Air Force One. The Brakemaster works well and was removed from my 2011 Honda. If anyone is interested I will bring it to the Arkansas rally in June.
