Thought I'd start a new thread so the other one doesn't get too cluttered.
I've been running 130 psi on the front tires which are Michelin 315s. According to their inflation charts that gives me a maximum weight capacity of 9090/tire or 18180# for the front axle. My actual weight is 16540#.
So should I still be running 130psi or should I reduce the fronts to 120psi which would still give me 17060# on the front?
And on the drive axle I'm running BF Goodrich at 105psi which gives me 13220 single axle and 24020 dual tire axles.
Should I reduce the pressures on these also?
Last week went to texas motor speedway. This week going to oaklawn race track in hot springs ark for the ark derby. Pulled the razor outlook it to a fab shot to make the roll cage easily removable. Putting in the wife's sl and the daughter honda in the stacker. Got parking right across the street from the track. Kinda excited.

A pretty good starting point....
may need to rotate the view.

The bottom trim strip extrusion on my water bay door had come a bit loose. It was attached by double sided adhesive tape and I managed to cut it loose with a long flat spatula-like tool. Then I had the unenvious job of cleaning the tape and adhesive residue off using a razor blade and a 3M scrubber. I tried using several solvents but never found one that worked well.
Forest had mentioned that the factory recommended the double sided tape or epoxy. The tape had not held so I went with WEST brand G/flex epoxy for about $22. Per their recommendation I wet-sanded the first coat of epoxy onto the door and the trim. Once cured I sanded it to give the epoxy some tooth. Since I had left the door on the coach I mixed the G/flex bonding coat with a small amount of WEST microfibers to give the mix more gap filling ability, slathered it on the trim strip and clamped it in place. After curing for a day I tested the bond by giving the bottom of the trim a hard yank and it stayed put so I guess it worked.
BTW; if you wax the finished surfaces in the area being worked on the cured epoxy peels off easily. It worked for me even though I had not thought about it ahead of time, the wax just happened to have been there. I was lucky, again.

Latest blog has a few details on our recent FL sojourn. Glad to answer questions or share information for those interested.
Happy and safe travels to all

Just pulled into a park about 70 miles from home and plan to be here for a few days. I noticed a leak the looks like coolant. It is coming from one of the four cut off valves on the left side of the engine. Are these heater, aqua hot, etc. valves and can I cut them off without any major problem? As soon as the engine cools off I will make sure that the hose clamps are tight. It looks like it is coming from the 3rd one down. As I said I am only 70 miles from home and would like to make it home and do the fix.

No pictures yet, but specs look good.

Our new place is on a few acres and i am just getting the hang of how to keep the weeds down.
i bought a 30 gallon 12v weed sprayer i put on the back of my golf cart (Pirate1) and after the weeds died, i needed to scrape the dead weeds out. at first i bought a hand weed hoe, but i couldnt get darlene to do enough with it. i tried telling her it was good exercise etc, but after one session with it, it has set unused in the garage.
i know you can buy drag harrows that you pull behind an ATV, golf cart etc and i have been looking at them.
so, i was looking around for something i could drag around behind Pirate1 and i saw sitting on the ground in the back yard my Dish HD TV dish and mounting frame. I thought.....will it work? then i asked myself if i needed to take the dish off first so i wouldnt damage it.....then i thought again.....it will help to balance it. (and that was too much work. there was alot of bolts on it)
so i tied it up with a strap and off i went. i towed it around for over an hour and got a chunk of the weeds gone and did some minor leveling in the front yard. the front yard is 1/4 minus granite. i felt like the guys doing ball fields or better yet the zamboni guys at a hockey game. it was a little hard to aim as it kinda didnt go in a straight line so i couldnt get as close as i wanted to things.
darlene was out for the afternoon and when she and a friend got home i was in the front yard in the golf cart in my plaid pajamas with wild man hair dragging the sat dish around. there was a smile on her face and i dont know if it was because she was so proud of my cleverness, or because of thinking she no longer had to hand hoe the weeds.
for some reason they felt the need to video me doing it. i think because they were so amazed at my brilliant idea. (or my pajamas)
another day in paradise....
