I am considering buying this coach. I am researching what it will take to convert this dinette table to something that would allow more sleeping space for the kids. The table with leaf is really nice but not suitable for my current needs. Any ideas or photos of alternative options? Photo of current configuration attached. 

2005 FOUR SLIDE front entry – $232,000. Miami show coach model-Lots of upgrades
4 roof airs with new covers, OTR air for front, 2000w solar, 3-300ah lithium batteries, new inverter, two new 48" OLED tvs, new automatic roof mounted Satellite dish with DishTV hopper, joey and wireless Joey (but can be used for DirectTv), macerator toilet, new 120v and 12v water pumps ,new Micro Air Thermostat with WiFi, new windshields, defogged many windows including driver and copilot, almost all windows open for fresh air, 2 roof mounted fans, new dump hose and dump gate, tan window covers, 240v 2 burner new induction stove top, 240v grill in bay, Sub Zero fridge with 2 freezer drawers, dishwasher, stacked full washer/dryer. Heated tile in kitchen and bathroom, carpet in bedroom and living room. Pullout sofa with airbed - very comfy. All electronic awnings. Tires are always covered with MagnaShade covers. New High and Low beam led headlights.
Recently did service work for the common issues on these Newells- New radiator, charge air cooler and heater Core replacement and new fuel line.  More than $16000 repairs. In addition to above new starter and heavy duty battery switch.
Newell installed a brand new Oasis Chinook hydronic heating system. NO MORE AQUA HOT ISSUES! The Oasis is similar in specs but has two 120v heating elements instead of the 240v. And, you can service anything by removing the front panel. Remote panel in the closet. I left the 10g electric in front of the Oasis so now you have 10g piping hot water then hydronic -Full redundancy!
Full communications system consisting of: Pepwave router with 2 sim slots (cellular, wifi, starlink ready), roof mounted omni antenna, 2-internal AP mini repeaters front/rear, Starlink cable routed to front extending bay. Installed quiet air compressor and newer Thomas as the second.
Receipts for last 15+ years, almost all service done by Newell in Miami or Indio by previous owner. Paint is in excellent condition and beautiful colors.

The molding on this entry door is damaged and needs repair. See photos. Any ideas for repair and ways to prevent this from happening again in the future. This is a 1998 swing door. 
I am considering buying this coach and am researching what it will take to get it back up to par.

The generator will not stay running when strter button is released. Solenoit pulls fuel valve open, but closes as soon as starter button is released.
Also the fuel Solenoid is getting very hot when not in use and genertor is not running.
It appears that the previous  owner installed a after market one because the wires do not have a plug on them, but 3 seperate crimped ends. One wire(black)is going to a bolt on the solenoid to ground, one wire (red) is going to blue and yellow wires from the wireing harness, one wire (white) is going to a white wire from the wireing harness.

If i disconect the wires, let it set and cool off, the generator will start and stay running, the solenoid appears to be working as it should. 

Shut the generator down, wait a couple of hours and the solenoid gets hot to the touch and stops holding the fuel valve open.        

Hi, I have rebuilt the six pack. installed a separate line from the raise solenoid directly to the T that feeds the drivers rear set of air bags. I engage the solenoid the air bags get hard ( no leaks) but it only raises about a 1/4". If i put a 20 ton air jack under the frame run it while concurrently powering on the lift solenoid it will lift to full height. I don't notice any binding or popping noises. Take the jack out and engage the lowering solenoid and the coach lowers. Any guidance will be appreciated. Thank You. Brion    

So again one of the scs units has failed. Tired of fixin it so I think it is time to install a mini split. I have read several posts on the website about ductless, size, mounting, fabricating, single zone, dual zone, etc.
I am trying to get a recommendation on which is the easiest, cost effective replacement. my main concern is the basement ac unit that cools the front of the unit. 

Question. Can i install 1 minisplit to run the entire coach and tie it into the original ductwork ? or is it better to have a wall mounted registers in 2 areas ?  We just want the coach cold everywhere.
Will a 24000 btu cool the entire coach ? We live in the dallas ft worth area and it get hot..
will the unit run off existing wiring and breakers in coach ? 
Any help would be appreciated.   Jack I know you have done a few of these, maybe you can shead some light on it for me

On our last trip home from Florida I parked the bus and started opening up or home from being gone for almost 5 months and came out the next morning and seen a spot on the concrete about 1 foot in diameter stuck my finger in it and found out it was coolant so crawled under and took a look and it was dripping from a weep hole on the bottom of the pump. This is on a series 60 engine so it will apply to a great deal of coaches here. I believe this to be the original pump so its 30 years old and has 210k miles on it. The pump replacement is pretty straightforward has 3 bolts that hold it to the back of the cam cover, only an O ring for sealing so no gasket. The old pump and new pump have different part numbers but they are the same except one of the ports on the bottom of the new pump is 3/8 inch rather than 1/4 inch so if your going to use that port you'll have to change fitting or buy a reducer bushing. Pump was $275 and shipping from AZ so thats not bad but I decided to change all the hose connections and what paint all the coolant pipes while I was at it. The new coolant pipes was not cheap and they vary in size all the way up to 3.125 ID. I bought 3 foot sticks of 3.125 2.625, 2.75, 1.625 to the tune of $400 bucks and there is a silicone hose kit for the water pump to the tune of $69. Coolant filter $15.

First step is to drain the coolant, I used a plastic tote to catch the fluid then a electric fountain pump to send to a 55 gallon plastic drum, total amount of coolant was roughly 15 gallons. Before I put it back in a used a antifreeze test kit to check for acid level and coolant consistency which Gordon said was a must do.  The hardest part of the whole job is replacing hoses, again I lost a pint of blood and looked like I'd been in a fight with lion. Painted all the lines and new water pump.

I can't turn the stearing wheel when setting still, it requires some movment in forward or reverse to turn. This makes for a lot of moving slightly foreward and backwards when in a tight spot.
Is this normal?

Is it ok to replace all my marker, tail, brake, and turn lights with LEDs or is there something in the electronic system that would provent that?
