I got caught in a hail storm over the weekend and could get the awning pull in fast enough, now she is off kilter a little and the front hangs out more than it should, IS there an adjustment to realign it?  I don't think it'll pull out if im driving but i'd really like for it to be back in sync again.

TIA

Anyone know, off hand, the size of the threads on the wet tank (the one behind the drive axle) I have a lanyard operated one, which was replaced last year and it's now leaking air. I'd like to replace it with something more leak resistant.

Thanks,

What is the consensus on the rear wet tank drain? I have an auto drain and the last time I pressed the Shrader valve there was water coming out. (This was before I replaced the air dryer) My question is should I remove the auto drain and plumb in a manual valve like I did for the front two tanks? I am thinking the rear tank will get dropped next since I would like to replace the check valve and give the tank a good examination. (Assuming Newell engineers didn't weld the tank brackets above the chassis blocking the bolt head) I am sure that one will be a doozie to get out due to the large size and proximity to chassisfanalia.

In good working order on a 1988 i just bought. I know these are hard to come by so let me know if you are interested. I’m in Indio, CA for the next month or so then will be in mesa, az for awhile. Only Newell owners.
Let me know if there are any other original parts you might need like electric cooktop, koolmatic roof fan, Dometic RM3807 (dc does not work right now but fridge stays at mid 30’s on setting 3)

Yesterday I had  the rest of the tires replaced.

While the drives were off I pulled the lanyard to empty the wet tank in the back. Not much water.. a puff of rust and it didn't seal well.. as is normal with those valves. I pulled and cajoled until I thought it was sealed. It wasn't.

Today I saw the left side (driver's) completely aired down, but the right side (Passenger's was perfectly fine and holding air.

I am thinking this may help me diagnose the leak I believe I have in the check vale(s)

Experts chime in!

While rebuilding the slide room HWH block the c-clip that holds the bottom o-ring in place went flying in my building and I’m not finding it. Is this something I can get at local hardware store? I may head to the house and get my big magnet bar for cleaning up nails to help find it if not… of course this was the last clip I was installing and will have to tear apart the other block to match it :-(

Aqua Hot unit blew a fuse that controlled the pumps & fans.  Called my friend and in just a minute identified the problem was the heat exchanger fan motor on the basement on my coach.  Disconnected heat exchanger motor and now have heat in coach.  Waiting for new motor which is a VDO PM393.  In 15 years I have replaced this motor 3 or 4 times.

THANK YOU RUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On a recent trip, I  noticed that the coolant expansion tank (in the rear engine area) had a pin hole size leak (Coach #1517) The tank is aluminum.  I did a temporary fix using JB Weld and it is holding for now.  I checked with Newell and they no longer use the same tank.  A new one is $956 (Wow!)

I am taking the coach there next month for the annual service and they seem pretty confident that trying to repair the leak by welding will work.

Has anyone else had this issue with their coach

Thanks
