My '93 doesn't have a tool box. I've seen others with a nice box on a slideout shelf and considered doing that. But couldn't find the size box + slide that would work out like I wanted it to.

It fit perfect in the small compartment in front of my rear tire. I was using a tool bag but that was a pain trying to find the right tool. I'll post pictures in a bit.

I went to open the engine cover & only the left side latch would unlatch. I had access to the right latch through the right engine access compartment on the right side. I was able to unlatch it using a 3 foot screwdriver. Don't know what I would do if the left side hadn't unlatched as there is no access. Both locks were stiff from lack of lubrication. I saturated both latches with spray lubricant until they worked smoothly. Now it opens & closes easily. Obviously I have neglected lubricating these latches. I offer this as a reminder to others so you don't get stuck with an engine cover that won't open. Also remember there are two grease fittings on the engine cover door.

On my last trip we got up into some freezing temperatures so we used the dash heater. In Alburquerque I noticed a small amount of engine coolant under the left front corner of the coach. The next day we only used the AquaHot heater. We stopped in Williams, AZ and there was no coolant under the left front. We got up the next morning in freezing temperatures and there was a pretty good puddle of engine coolant under the left front of the coach. I spoke with Tommy Key at Newell who stated the dash heater core is under the dash on a metal pan that would drain any leakage to the left front corner of the coach. He stated if the heater core is leaking the dash has to be removed, core box opened and it is about a days job. He said to first try tightening the heater hoses that connect outside the core box. We didn't use the dash heater for the rest of the trip. I only got leakage on nights when it froze.

When I got home I removed the top of the dash. Could see the heater core box in the middle of the coach, but could not see where the hoses connected. I removed the cover that fits over the brake pedal. To the right I could see two heater hoses, but not where they connected to the heater core. I could also see the metal pan & it had remnants of engine coolant. I felt down by the floor to the right & felt where the hoses were clamped to the heater core. "In the blind" I tightened the lower hose a little. The top hose took no tightening. It has now been almost a week and no more leaking under the coach even in the freezing morning temps.

Tom, I have purchased four sets of combination LED run and stop lights and one set of amber. I recall in a previous posting, perhaps on the old forum, that you replaced three of the red each side, but not the top center light. My plan is to wire all eight lights to work as both a run (tail) light and stop light. I am curious as to why you left the one red light original, and do you see any problem with my wiring plan.

3 slides were not real common. Low mileage. Asking $215,000

My "shore line" warning light on my dashboard was burnt out. It is not a bulb I have seen before. It twists into a mounting block. It has a marking of "IDI 4133". Any one dealt with this type of bulb before & have a source?
