I have always been a gearhead. Here is my list of top ten favorites. Design and performance are my considerations.

1963 Corvette split window, especially with the factory sidepipes!!
1977-79 Pontiac TransAm
1947-54 Chevrolet AD trucks, I currently have a '52 panel that I'm street rodding. Hope to have it done someday.
Any Diamond T pick-up
1970 Oldsmobile 442
1967 Pontiac GTO
1965 Chevrolet Impala 2 door "fastback"
1940 Ford
1970 Hemi Cuda
1957 Chevrolet Nomad wagon.
Some Jeeps

There are others that I like as well. I have been blessed to own a couple of these over the years. (I never owned a '63 split window  B-(  .

Hi,
Silverleaf shows waste tank is 100% full even after emptying.
Have flushed mx times. even with enzymes.
Have cleaned contacts on, what appears to be a "telephone" line at sending unit.
Have swapped "black" tank connection with "fresh"... then shows "fresh" at 100% full.
I assume I have a bad sending unit from the waste tank.
Was advised to tip coach to curb side before attempting replacement.
Any other helpful suggestions other than haz mat suit??
Any other tests to do before I replace?
Thanks.
Richard

This box is located just under the dash left of the steering column at about knee height.  Don't have a clue what function it controls, if any thing at all.  Has anyone seen this before?

While under the coach replacing air bags, we noticed the hydraulic cooler had one fan had been dislodged from the motor, see the picture. Has anyone rebuilt theirs? I would like to buy the parts and have the local truck shop install because they have a pit and reasonable rates.

We just had front brake drums replaced and found damaged wheel studs on three wheels. We have all of the brakes checked. Left side is left hand threaded and right side is right hand threaded. I cleaned Newell out of the LH studs. The good news Van Horn Truck Parts ( Van Horn Truck Parts Inc. <[email protected]> ) seems to have the dog ear front studs under the Euclid part numbers of E5984R and E5984L .

I would suggest anyone having this Rockwall axle and hubs ensure their service people understand LH on the left and properly torque the wheel nuts. According to Fleet Pride, the wheel studs have been obsolete since about 1993. I spent a week trying to find enough to ensure all wheel studs were good and safe for use. I found a 600 ft/lb torque wrench on Amazon for about $200 that should be adequate for the 450ft/lb specified torque. Cheap insurance in my book to ensure there are no excuses to not properly wheel nuts!

A local bus company did find more available from Mexico for $38 EACH!

Happy motoring!

I fellow Newell owner who is not at his coach would like to order a VMSpc. Based on Bill Johnson's comments, his under dash connector is not a standard DIN plug but a square connector and I believe uses the 4 wire system.

Does anyone with a 2004 model Newell know which connector their coach has? A quick response would be greatly appreciated.
