Just got 701 back from factory with a new transfer switch.. One noticeable difference. The time it takes from turning off the generator till the shore power engaging. It used to take 45 secs to a minute.. Now takes less than 10 secs..

I sent an email to Newell asking about availability of schematics for plumbing, electrical, etc and was told they do not have any... really? Do they just burn the schematics after the customer picks up their coach? Is the wiring numbered for traceability? Is there a 'black box' like the Birds have and I missed it? I don't want to be negative here but that is a huge issue for someone that enjoys working on their own coach...
This park is convenient for Big Rigs visiting Calgary, Banff/Lake Louise. Mostly 30 amp but 50 amp available on request. Pull thru's max 65'. Each site has a lawn area, hedged gravel space, picnic table & fire pit. Paved interior roads. Group area building with BBQ's & firepit. Near shopping, Bow River, off leash dog park. All Guru's Welcome.
OK, I hate the bed in the Newell we are looking at - it is the round cross island bed with the uber cool rear bath that my wife loves.
If we just extend the edges of the bed to support our Queen Select Comfort bed will we have enough room to walk around the bed?
I will have to look at the pictures again - my wife swears that there are odd corner cabinets that will be in the way if we do that.
I would love to get a Murphy bed installed with our Select Comfort mattress - we both tried the foam mattress (Temperpedic) and did not like them at all (cost us $600 to send it back)... Is this feasible?
This morning after leaving the RV park in Eugene and having the coach sit for about an hour while I searched for air springs, the inverter indicated the house batteries were at shutdown which is 10 volts. I tried to start the generator, but not enough power. Hit the merge switch, still not enough power. Tried to start the engine, no dice. For some strange reason, the house and starter batteries were both too low to do anything. By this time we started smelling burnt electronics. I turned the inverter off and there was anough juice left to start the gen. I think my Zantex is fried. Drove all day with the gen. working and everything is fully charged. Tomorrow I will be in Modesto, CA, and will start looking for a Magnum or Outback inverter, and someone to install it before proceeding to Arizona. Any suggestions and advise would be appreciated.
We are looking at the 1998 45' Newell single slide at Motorhomes of TX. They own the coach, not a consignment. It looks in decent shape but won't air up. I'm afraid the slide seal is dead, tires are 2009 and batteries are questionable. What else do I need to look for that is a know problem with these years? the price seems OK but I don't want to overpay and then find out something big is wrong.
I think the compressor for my rear AC has given up the ghost. Anyone know anybody good in Phx area that can fix a Dometic?

Currently, Newell is only showing 1 "New" Newell, the black Business Class VIP #1460 and 16 used Newells.
This is one of the lowest inventories of Newell I have seen the factory have in years.
