So, just noticed that i have a baking rack and a metal plate, but NO glass carousel nor carousel support.

Anyone know the part numbers for them? or have spares from a busted microwave?

While I'm thinking about it, does someone have a photo of the carousel drive disc? The one under the plate. Mine looks a bit toasted and crunchy, but I'm not sure since I never saw one new!

Thanks,

Since I do not have a dinette table, I am going to have one fabricated from the original material.

i see two basic shapes from Newell's of my era. Round end and flat end with rounded corners. Either way, can someone measure it and tell me it's width )seat to seat) and length (from the wall. Also..if possible height of top above the floor.

Also, if anyone knows what epoxy is used both to assemble the layers and to fill in the routed trim line groove, I would be grateful!

Thanks,

Hi all, looking for some entry step paint advice.
My entry step works great, but aesthetically , it is in pretty bad shape. I'm thinking about  refinishing it and am looking for some advice on paint. Due to the amount of foot traffic on the step, I'm not sure a standard spray paint will hold up. Should I take it to an automotive paint shop or find a place to get it powder coated?

Has anyone done this and what paint did you use? How's the durability?
Looking forward to your replies.

Thanks, Tony

Hey All,
I am troubleshooting/rebuilding my aquahot system and the rain has put a damper on the outside work.

Like most of you, I have a Cyberdyne red LED round gauge over the microwave that reads out the Aquahot temperature. Trouble is, mine is off.

I have some unconnected wires in the Aquahot bay, that may be the culprits, but have no idea which ones feed that gauge. I know there should be a temp sensor someplace on/in the Aquahot unit and some way to feed power to the gauge.

Anyone know which wires are which? This is a particularly Newell problem.

Thanks!

We have just begun looking at a 2006 Newell, so far just on the internet/email.

The salesman I have emailed back and forth with says the coach has "air leaks at the moment" they are dealing with "stubborn slide rooms and the entry door is "acting up".

Before I invest anymore time/effort in this coach how big of an issue can air leaks be. I have no desire to run new air lines in a coach. If someone might be able to give me an idea of the expense I would certainly appreciate it.

They suggested I hire an Inspector, it is a bit early for that.

My largest concern is I don't know what I don't know.

Does anyone have any idea what this plug could go to?  I discovered it resting on the driver's window track, hence the scuff marks.  This picture was taken underneath the driver's control panel, near the DataPort plug.

Nothing is malfunctioning that I can tell.  I realize it may be an extra, but I'd like to be sure if possible.

I'll send an email to Newell on Monday, but the community may be able to help in the meantime.

Needing a referral for a diesel mechanic in Indianapolis.  8V92 spools up at idle like it should, when transmission is engaged, engine will not rev passed 800rpm, not enough power to roll forward or backwards.

The air cleaner for my DD 8V92 just pulls air from the engine compartment. Should it be ducted to the screened opening shown in the picture? If so, does anyone have a picture of how Newell did it? I am thinking a piece of 7" aluminum semi rigid duct might be the ticket but would like to see how it was done if at all originally.

Every now and then there is a topic started asking about driving on old tires or someone wanting to know what pressures to run without having any idea of their axle weights.
No idea of the age of this 18 wheelers tires but just to show how an obviously inexperienced driver can lose control in a front tire blowout.  Tragic results for the other drivers.

And as an aside we just drove 1300 miles in the Lexus and I can't understand why anyone would slowly pass an 18 wheeler on a 4-lane.  Get around them as quickly as you can so you don't suffer the same fate as above.
Here's one of the trucks that were hit in the opposite lane, one guy died, 15 calves in the trailer died, other guy miraculously survived.
