So I,  had a flight out one morning early to go watch my middle daughter graduate from Stanford. We were staying at a campground in Shiner, TX at the time. My wife wasn't going so the day before I left I, dumped and flushed the holding tanks. Maybe the valve was open for 10 or 15 minutes max. Anyway the next morning I was up and on my way to the airport in Houston by 5am. About an hour after I got to John Wayne airport in Oakland, California my, wife called frantic saying after her morning bathroom visit she went to the kitchen to start breakfast then was on her way back to the bedroom to get dressed and out of the corner of her eye she, saw a rat in the toilet bowl...Closed the lid so it couldn't get out ran around frantically trying to figure out what to do. Finally grabbed a handful of plastic walmart bags opened the lid reached in grabbed the rat and took him outside. I would have just flushed him and filled the tank half full and drained again. I thought it was pretty funny she, didn't...... Anyway don't leave those valves open for too long as critters do live in sewers..

I’m working on a 1987 classic with the tag axle. I noticed the rear tires spinning, actually very hard to move from a start. I have to try to ease in the pedal. My first guess is the tag pressure is to high and raising the drive tires enough to were they are not making enough contact with the payment.

My main question or were I need help is I read there is a adjustable regulator on the bulkhead, found it I think. I question if it’s installed correctly or if it needs to be a special type of regulator. The one in the middle of the picture was reading full air pressure 125psi. I tried to turn it down but it lowers the gauge below it also, is that ok. I’m thinking it’s plumbed wrong?

If anyone has or could provide a picture of their setup to compare or experience in how this thing is supposed to work. Greatly appreciated. Comments

I have 24 song's currently playing on Spotify., IHeart radio and also sold on Amazon. I have owned four bus conversions a Flxible, 2 MCI s and a Prevost.this is my 1st Newell.

Ok, first if this coach doesn't sell in 2.5 months we might buy it (at a lower price)...
This is not to say this coach is overpriced. They just put in the 'good pictures' on the website today. When this coach came in this week it was instantly sale pending. Financing fell through, so I got more interested. The few pics at the time didn't thrill me. The new ones are much better.

Newell #1233

I have the link to google pics that they sent me - pictures from MOT

This coach meets most of what I'm looking for. I really like the subdued exterior paint scheme. I prefer a mid entry as the wife can't walk far, and front entry coaches I've know had more wind noise. I'm really looking more for an 05 or preferably 06 to keep the price under 300K and this one will likely sell a bit above 400K...

So If I can't get it, I hope someone here will.

I have a 1974 40' Newell for sale. It was the first Newell ever built with a tag axle. It has a Cummins 903 from the factory. I have owned it for almost 20 years, it was running when I parked it 10+ years ago (I partnered with a buddy on a newer coach). It has cosmetic damage at right rear corner. It will need filters, batteries and a mechanic to get it running. It will need new tires to travel safely. Needs painting. Located in Fredericksburg VA. $15,000 or best offer. (540) 840-6910.

Not that we are in the market for a new or late model coach.....
I do have a question for the Gurus.  As we all know, a new coach has a two year warranty.  Also, Newell has a two year warranty on their late model used coaches (that qualify).  What is it that "qualifies" a used coach for the two year warranty?  Then does Newell extend to an owner of new coach an additional two year warranty (with the same qualificaions) just as they would do for a late model used coach?
