Sometime in the next couple of weeks, I will be listing Coach 730 on the various RV sale sites and of course will be sharing the links here. I wanted to give a little preview first to if anyone here may be interested.
My father is the original owner.
The coach is located just outside of Atlanta, GA. It’s a 2005 model with the Series 60 Detroit and Allison 6 speed. 3 slides, mid entry. Mileage is over 100,000, I will have the exact numbers and many pictures once it is listed.
I’m trying to get a feeling on pricing currently.

Sweet looking old gal. I love the look.
HERE
10 years ago I would have jumped on this.
I have no connection to this coach.
I am wanting to try to run our coach using a 30 amp plug I have in my barn. It is about 100’ way from where I can park. Would I be able to make an 80’ extension using 50 amp cord with an adapter to 30 amp in the barn and the other end plugged into the 50 amp cord coming out of the coach?
From reading on the forum sounds like I will be able to run one of the AC zones on low with this setup.
Any experience with this?
HI,
My hi/low beam switch needs to be replaced on my 411 -- 1996. How do I separate the grey piece from the black piece. I don't think it is a puller issue. I think I just need to pry them apart with a thin blade? Looks as though someone already may have done this if you can see the yellowish scratches.
Thanks in advance

Hello Everyone,
We are recently the proud owners of coach 1242. We also own 606 but after purchasing we decided a steerable tag and as was enough of reason to spend the extra $. We purchased in Dallas area and live North of Kansas City so we had to stay the night at Newell Headquarters. Wish we could have had a factory tour but maybe next time. We are thrilled we are decision to purchase Coach 1242 and look forward to the many adventures across the country. We have 3 young children so we thought this would be great investment in spending time as family and having fun as well.
I've removed the Air Force One system from my coach, and it's free to a good home. Having not used it personally, I can't guarantee that it's complete. But a good start for someone who wants to tow four down. Installation manual included. No baseplate for car. Local delivery in Phoenix or western Colorado.
Chuck
Our Microphor toilet was not cycling correctly, the flapper valve only staying open for about 1 second. I removed the air & water sequence valve and installed an overhaul kit. Well, that did not make any difference and with closer inspection I found that air was leaking at the base area of the sequence valve. There is a hairline crack running between the 2 threaded port holes for the 2 bottom air lines, it is very hard to see and could only be found with soapy water and while having the valve partially removed from toilet and leaving some air lines connected to test. Mullaney sells an air & water sequence valve body #39386 but not yet confirmed by Mullaney that this body will work on a LF210 by just swapping parts from the old valve and overhaul kit. He wasn't sure about an internal check valve. So my question is, has anyone used valve body 39386 on a LF210? Or as a long shot, does anyone have a older style black body like mine they would sell? Picture has pen pointing to crack area and what my valve looks like.
Thanks!
I believe I have a regulator issue.
As I drive, I go down to 11.9 V and back to 14.3 V. It may stay at 11.9 for 10 minutes or so, so its not just a quick second that its low.
I don't believe it should ever get below 13.2 while driving, correct ?
Electrical is not my strong point. Should I do more testing ? Or is it automatically the regulator ?
I have been in the market for new batteries for several months now. The coach came with Interstate FLA batteries which was a mixed bag of older and new batteries from the RV dealership. I did not really like the FLAs so that eliminated debating the FLA. That left AGM or Lipo...running the numbers and warranties of the current offerings I came up with the following;
- Trogan Motive AGM - $650 each or $4,173, 2yr warranty
- Crown AGM - $710 each or $4558, 3yr replacement warranty
- Lifeline AGM - $668 each or $4,288 1yr replacement plus 2yr prorated
- Oreilly's - $396 each or $2,548 (note: these batteries are made by Deka) 1yr warranty
- Battle Born Lipo $979 or $5,874 for six, 10 yr warranty
I came across this new manufacture of a 12.8, 100 AH Lipo battery that has a promotion going on for the first 350 batteries...https://fourvolt.com/products/lifepo4-battery....at $379 each or $2,274.....list price at $779. Well that got my attention for some further investigation. These batteries are made up of individual cells like that of BB batteries use however they are completely assembled in China with an internal BMS just like the BBs hence the cheaper price. Knowing this and several other risks as follows;
- New company
- Bleeding edge manufacturing-not sure what they have done before...could have production issues to iron out.
- waiting on 350 units sold to start a production run....June ship date.
- Product support????
- Being a new company the units are going to be built as solid as they can to be able to compete....possibly even more so in order to gain a foothold in the market.
- Free shipping
- With the promotion price point they are cheaper than Oreilys....if they crap out on me in a couple years i'd be no worse than with Oreily's
- 10 yr warranty
The following emails are my conversation with 4 Volt;
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your e-mail.
We recommend charging between 14.3V > 14.6V. Most standard chargers are able to provide this charge for fully recharging your battery.
It's only important to check that a lead-acid charger doesn't have a desulphating mode, and in case you should turn that off. Most GEL/AGM modes do not have this, but you should always check the documentation for the charger in question, just to make sure you are within the above mentioned voltage range.
We have recently posted an update on our homepage explaining the effect of the COVID-19 situation. For more info let me send you a direct link to our update here:
https://fourvolt.com/blogs/news/covid-19...pre-orders
To update since the above post, we have been pushed back a couple of weeks which means deliveries should start taking place during June.
We're currently waiting to close in the final pre-orders in the following 1-2 weeks (to reach the production target), then begin production, following distribution center delivery.
Once the production goes out to our distribution partner (Amazon MCF), delivery will take aprox. 2-5 days, but again - that would most likely be in June based on how things are currently looking. As soon as we are able to give a precise time-frame we will let all our customers know.
The highly discounted price is of course part of it still being pre-orders at this stage and prices are scheduled to go up soon as we move to production.
If you mistakenly made a pre-order and expected earlier delivery of your battery, I do apologize and I will be happy to cancel and refund your order immediately.
Please don't hesitate to get back in touch if you have any further questions.
Best regards,
Nicholas L.
Hi Stephen,
Thank you for your reply.
As for warranty concerns, we offer a 10 year warranty, in case of any defects you can return the battery to our distribution partner (or we will find the nearest possible alternative locally to you). We will then either replace/refund/repair depending on the issue. I can't give you an exact timeline, that would depend on the issue, but most likely we would simply replace it with a new model and figure out the defects on our end, unless there would be clearly visible damage caused by misuse.
First step would always be trying to identify and resolve the issue between us, if that fails then the above would follow. Naturally things that would be excluded would be: Damage due to improper installation, Environmental damage (exposure to extreme hot or cold temperatures, fire or freezing, or water damage), Damage caused by collision, Product that has been opened, modified or tampered with, under-sized for the application use.
I hope this gave you some more insight.
Please don't hesitate to get back in touch if you have any other questions.
Best regards,
Nicholas L.
Hello all,
I’m having issues with the HWH air suspension controls.
The air system appears to be working because it airs up to ride height when you start the coach. The green travel light is always on but that is all. The only button that works is the all lower. You can lower it but that’s it. When you touch the air bottom to self level or manual nothing happens at all and none of the up down arrows do anything.
Thanks for any advice or...!
