My Newell has 2 fans that exhaust through the roof with one of those rain-proof hoods. One vented the range hood and the other vented the bathroom. I'm trying to determine what the CFM of those fans are. I'm thinking of replacing with 105 CFM 12V squirrel cage fan.

We are headed that way after the rally in MO. Would like to find a place to lay low (read that as NOT USE DIESEL) for a week or so. Any ideas? Thanks, Susie

Steve has posted Coach 802, a quad slide, 45'8" 2007 Newell for sale for $649K. Photos are not yet posted. The coach has less than 32,000 miles.
California Coach Newell 802

Hello,
We are back in Montana and I figure is perfect time to replace our well depleted house batteries. No tax and I was able to find at Battery Plus in Mssoula Decca Batteries exact replacement from our Exide brand which is no longer in production. They are not Gel type but we don't do any dry camping anymore! and at only 199 $ each it was great deal!
I have question if anyone replaced and what procedure should be used!
Should the coach need to be plugged in so all the electronics will be on?
Or , should we run generator while replacing each one ?
Never done it before so I figure I ask first!
Mine are two post with grease sleeves which easy slide out and can be replaced on new posts.
Thanks,
Les

A while back I mentioned I was looking for replacement red marker lights for my '82 Newell. I can find the amber ones that go on the front cap, but the red ones are no longer available. My good friend Todd Flickema, found some NOS on eBay and I bought 5 and had them shipped to Todd's home in Sioux Falls. I fuilly intended to install them while we were in Sioux Falls, but the weather was not compatible with standing on a tall ladder for a couple of hours to do the job, so i deferred that job until today. I completely removed the old light fixtures and installed the new ones....took just about 2 hours start to finish. I used marine grade clear silicone caulk to seal the bases.
I know I could probably have found some newer marker lights (front and back) that are still in production, and in stock somewhere, but I really prefer to keep the outside of the Newell as close to original appearance as possible. Special thanks to Todd for finding these lights and enabling me to continue to achieve that goal.
I'm aware of the 24/7 Newell tech line - but does anyone know of a email address they can be contacted @?

Left our card on white Newell with red trim at Trailer Ranch in Santa Fe. Bill called us and they are on their way back to Texas. By the way, don't know if you guys know about this place, Trailer Ranch in Santa Fe. Great place to stay. No pull throughs but if you can back in, you're golden! Great location for Santa Fe, much better than those big rig places outside of the city. This is right on Cerillos Road, the main street through the town.

Unless of course, you're just passing through and aren't planning on visiting Santa Fe. Ask for Joni or David Miller and tell them Susie sent you!

what that switch is for!
I have a switch at the panel on the counter by the door that wasn't labeled and couldn't figure out what it was for. The other night I noticed the grab handle had a dim light coming from the top of it. It had a stainless handle, so I pulled it apart and sure enough there is a light bulb that is controlled by that switch. So I decided to replace the stainless handle with a lucite rod. It came out nice and now I have a lighted handle for nighttime!
