Last year was the first full winter that I owned our coach. We store it inside a large building with other RV's. The building is well sealed but is not climate controlled. Our winters can get very cold (come on global warming) and the coach will be in storage from about the first week in November until late April. Last year when they started her she churned for a while and finally started. We have it winterized which includes checking battery water level and adding something to the diesel fuel that preserves it. Should I do anything else? I see these battery tenders advertised in camping world. I am not sure there are reachable outlets in this building but I worry it won't start in the spring and if it is bad for the batteries to sit like that.

Not much in this part of the country, but Air Capital is a nice, new, cement pad with grass park just off I-135 on the south side of Wichita.
A little pricy at $54/nite but easy 70' pull throughs.

We got our first dusting of snow yesterday. Just a warning shot but I need to get the coach ready for some travels!
Heading to Yuma at the end of the month, anyone else going to be there?

Basement door came open while driving on rough road. It was the door for the fuel tank. When this happens it sticks out about 2 feet. Not much fun on a busy 4 lane road. I did get it to the side of the road before anyone hit it. The frame was sprung and the door wouldn't latch back. So I used the RV'ers best fixit aid "Duck tape" I only needed to go about 10 miles to my son's house. The major problem is the outside skin is coming off, it appears it is put on with doubled face tape. Has anyone had this problem? What kind of tape do you use, name etc. where do you buy it? Any suggestion will be helpful.

Our Kenmore Washer stops at the rinse cycle (at all three wash settings).
Once we manually move or adjust the control forward (beyond rinse)the cycle completes. Can the wash cycle setting/timer be repaired/ or replaced without removing the entire stack unit? Has anyone else had Kenmore washer issues/solutions?

I have a air leak or several air leaks that I have not found. On the dash there are two air gauges. One has two needles, a white and a red which stays at about 100-110 pounds and the next to it is another gauge that will lose about 8-10 pounds an hour. The 120 volt comp. will come on at about 75 pounds and cut off at 95 pounds. The comp. will cycle about every 2 to 21/2 hours. I have the Inficon ultrasonic detector. This thing want pick up a thing. I can hear a air leak before it will get to the first light, and I wear hearing aids. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can blow into it fairly hard before the first light comes on. Back to the leaks I have. I know air leaks are an on going thing but is 8-10 pounds an hour excessive? I have also used soapy water with no luck. Chappell
