While cleaning the AH bay I snapped off the plastic latch finger "D" ring. It is a Southco Latch (Southco M1-61 Series Natural Plastic Flush Pull Push-to-Close Latch, Non-Locking, 0.08"-0.28" Panel Thickness, 0.98"-1.02" Grip Range, Black). Amazon has them https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076G2LHCQ?ref...tails&th=1

Hey Gurus,
Here is a fun one.
Have any of you had to fix or replace the DPF aftertreatment harness or sensors on a CAT C15??
My C15 has two codes for bank 1 DPF gas temperature. One each for input and output. Sometimes its "Voltage above normal" and sometimes its " Voltage below normal". I have it at a repair shop that has the CAT diagnostic software. That shop said the coach needs an aftertreatment jumper harness from the engine harness to temperature sensors, as well as a doc inlet clamp and gasket. Of course this info was obtained via CAN bus debugging, not taking anything apart (Shop is disassembling tomorrow). The shop called CAT to get parts, after which CAT said they don't make such a harness and we should call the coach maker. The shop emailed Newell who said they don't touch emission parts. I guess we'll see what we have when they disassemble tomorrow and look for part numbers, if any. I certainly hope the part numbers are on the bad parts, or the parts are obviously failed (such as a broken wire or connector, or sensor that measures out of range, when isolated.
In any event, has anyone had to repair this area or have a wiring diagram? Photos would be great but Santa didn't bring 'em and I can't wait for the Easter Bunny.
After several months here at Orange Beach AL we started our departure to Cedar Key FL for a couple weeks then home but we got delayed due to the front slide not retracting. This morning I brought in the rear slide first then started on the front and heard the locking pins disengage then the floor dropped as usual but the slide came in about 1/2" then stopped. I could hear the motor loading down but no movement the first thing I thought of was the pump was low on fluid so I checked it and it was low a bit and put a quart into the tank but no change. I then thought of air in the lines but it was loading the pump a great deal so I discussed with Richard some of the trouble shooting I did but really made no progress till he said to open the release on the solenoid valves for extend and retract one at a time which I did but no change but looking at the diagram noticed Room extend flip arm and room retract flip arm not knowing what a flip arm is I manually opened the bypass valve on room extend flip arm and the slide closed 6 inches without the pump on! So I turned on the coach let the seals deflate and hit the retract button and it came in with the solenoid bypassed, I checked every fuse in the system and all of them are good so my question is which switch controls the flip arm solenoid and what is a flip arm? If I had the energy I would be trouble shooting the system but that will come when we get settled into Cedar Key.
I just joined the group and want to learn more about Newell coaches. I currently own a 2020 Entegra Anthem but would love to own a Newell.
We are new to the Newell family (#1260, 2009 quad slide, front entry. purchased Nov 2023)
We love the coach and are a bit overwhelmed by all the different systems but enjoying the learning. We have what I assume is a simple question, but find very little about it in this forum. A screen covering for the front door, or the equivalent. We are surprised that this problem has not been solved, by owners or by Newell.
If anyone has information on this subject, we would appreciate help, or if it is well covered in this site, just guide us.
Thank you
Woody
OKAYYY, So I have been without the high side for sometime and I really didnt want to fool around with it but there is no way I can descend any serious grades without it, not willing to risk our lives. So I talked to Newell and they said maybe its the switch that is bad. I figured almost twenty years old perhaps. I ask the service guys if they could send a diagram to be sure no previous owners had moved anything around.
I bought a switch, installed per the diagram this morning, just took her for a test drive, NOTHING except LOW. Now the funny thing is in order to get low the switch has to be on HIGH?? If you toggle back to low its totally off.
Anyone experience this issue? I'm thinking there has got to be an issue in how the switch is wired. I have attached a diagram received from Newell
Still jakebrakeless in Cali
Given that no two Newell's are alike I know this might be a long shot, but does anyone o ow where I can obtain a wiring schematic for a 1983 Newell. I'm starting to go through mine but having the wiring guide will make things go much more smoothly. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have two Dometic condenser units I removed. They are local pickup in Mesa AZ only. If they do not get picked up, they will be disposed of. Both cooled. One sprang a leak at the condenser and the other would trip the breaker after a while. Both have new Grainger blower motors and ran very quiet and well balanced. I will also end up removing the evaporator units when I get time to remove unsprung weight from the coach. I can be reached at 480 818-2101. Text is best.
I removed two dometic condensers from my coach to make room for a 48v a/c system. One has a bad/leaky condenser and the other used to trip the breaker after a little bit of operation. Both cooled. I gave up on these. Both have new Grainger blower motors and were really quiet and well balanced. I am not shipping or parting these out so local pickup is needed. Let me know if anyone is interested. They will go to the dump next week. I will restore the compartment before anything else goes in there.
