First camping trip out had nothing on except phone charging and woke up to dead batteries. How would I go about jumping it? No air pressure to get generator drawer out. Thanks in advance!
Has anyone ever installed a Safe-T-Plus on their coach? I have one on my old Winnebago that I rent out now. I’m thinking about putting it on coach #530.

(Not quite, but I did make it to the internet!)
When we picked up our coach from the paint shop, they made a quick video of us. Scroll within their site to the bottom for my claim to un-famous fame. We had not slept in 24 hours as the only flight into Mason City was an overnight deal. Still, it was a memorable and fun experience. Love the area although there is not much to do.

Does anyone know what make this pump is? I need a gasket for the pump to engine mount and the engine mount to engine block. I have a leak that's been there since I bought it. Thought tightening down the bolts would have helped last year but that's not the case. Not sure the gasket part numbers.
Rudy and I were discussing how we like the Hubbell power cord ends for making up a 50 amp extension cord. He noticed that there isn't a female connector available except one with a wall plate attached. I searched their site and can't find what we need.
Good morning, I have coach 776, and I’m wanting to change my air bags out. Anyone have part numbers for air bag replacement? Ty very much! Mike
Hello Again,
After reading all of the negatives on this Forum about the VT555 Cummins I am wondering how long mine may stay together. I am a worrier, and I am good at it!
She runs fine now except for a little smoke but after being stored for so long it probably should. My question is this, If I ever have to REPOWER which engine would be the closest to fit and be suitable for the Coach? 1974 Newell 35', currently with Allison 4 Speed.
Thank You
Alfred Nesbitt
On my trip back, no idea when, I received a crack in my Driver's side windshield. When Viracon was still in business, this would have been easy. Either get it from them to a glass installer or go to the factory and have it replaced. It appears that Newell used the same windshields from around 1991 till 1999.
Not so now. Evidently the glass tooling was sold to RV Custom Glass Solutions and they now supply newell and installers on demand. I spoke with them and they assured me that the tint band and overall tint will match the old Viracon windshields as they have not changed the vinyl nor formulation of the glass and it's made on the same tooling as before.
They were VERY helpful and I am expecting a picture of the glass shortly. In any event, newell does NOT have New Old Stock. I can only hope that they do match, other wise I will be setting up for an extended haggle with my insurance carrier to replace the passenger side as well. Seems to me it would be pretty distracting to have two different colors on your windshields!
Oddly, my carrier Progressive, has you call their main number, then the transfer you to their RV Glass dept, who then transfers you to Safelite who then transfers you to their RV Glass department. Be prepared for a shuffle. The Safelite RV Glass department supervisor indicated that, in the event the one side does NOT match, they would try and convince the insurance carrier to replace the other side. However, that is not a guarantee.
I am hoping it doesn't come to that.
So please someone clarify why newell would wire these water pumps like this..
1. main water pump- is a 12v pump. newell has wired this pump thru a 120v small relay switch that when plugged in or gen is running that pump works, and only works when plugged in or gen on.( when you turn on switch )
2. aux water pump- is a 12v pump that will run anytime you have 12v and pump is switched on
so why would they do this and not have both pumps aval. if 12 volt is aval ? Am I missing something here ? Maybe has something to do with aqua-hot ?
I purchased a spare compressor on eBay just in case something ever happens to my Junair oil type compressor. I paid $112 and it was free shipping so it was a no brainier. My unit is 220vac and located where the inverter heat pumps are located in the basement air compartment. After taking it apart to look at all the goodies I seen a lot that I was impressed with, the flywheel is off center to make the compressor almost vibration free and with the rubber feet it seems to be a solid unit. It puts out more cfm than the oil unit but not as quite but after installing the intake filter and putting a line on the output side it got to a pleasant hum but not dead silent. It is very small in size and heavy. For those of you looking for a cheap alternative I would recommend this unit. I think they come in 120v also but more expensive.
