So, 2 questions:
1) Will we be allowed to edit our posts indefinitely, or will there be a time limit? :-)

2) Can we disagree with you without being banned? :-)

I put 3 new TV's in my 02. 2 identical LG 42LM6200 3D one. one in the front salon and one in the bedroom. and a 37" Vizio in the bay to the left of the entry door. Michael Day mounted the rear TV when he was here visiting us and helped me put the front one up. fortunately the coach originally had 42" plasmas that made putting the LED tv's in quite easy.

i am very impressed with the 3d images. these particular tv's are the passive ones only requiring the sunglasses like glasses with no batteries. very light.

i also added a new yamaha receiver and 3d blu-ray player as well as a Mirage MM6 sub.

on our recent trip the grandkids watched a zillion movies back in the bedroom. i am really liking having a big tv back there.

Forum: Full Timing Experiences

Hi All, after full timing for 11 years I can still say we love it. We are parked now for 6 months on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. We have put about 95,000 miles on the coach since we bought it in 2006. As Canadians we can only spend 7 months/year outside of our home province, but we have managed to see 23 states and 7 other provinces in that time. I would not change a minute of our experiences for anything. We have done many updates and revisions to our Newell, including a new paint scheme and have many pictures of the modifications we have done. Most of those mods can be seen on our gallery. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I believe Newell make the best of all coaches.

Forum: Air Conditioning
- Replies (15)

Gang,

My 2003 has two dual air conditioner units in the basement.  These have been a constant source of trouble for me.  They have been worked on many times (new fans, new boards, even a whole new rebuilt unit).

Now that they are working as designed, I have figured out that they cannot produce enough cooling for me.  I am getting about a 20 degree F differential between the air going in the returns and the air coming out the vents.

I was parked at my brothers house in Dallas (110F) running on generator facing south....and the coolest I could get the coach was 85F.

So, I am at Newell having a single roof air unit added to my coach.  This thread is to document the experience with the install and to tell you guys how this experiment works out.

How about an area just for the ladies?
Cindy has come to enjoy being in the Newell almost as much as I do but if they have an area where they could exchange ideas on, oh I don't know, maybe washing machines, vacuums, hiding our credit cards.....
then they might become addicts like the rest of us. We need support for our habits.

If any Newell owners are going to be in the Branson, Missouri area we invite you to stop by and utilize our full hookups. We also have electrical & water hookups for a second coach if you are traveling in pairs. The farm has lots of room! Feel free to email me if you are coming to our area. We have already had two happy Newell campers this summer.

My name is Forest and I'm a Newell addict!
Just wanted to get this going.
Tried posting in "Howdy and welcome..." section but wouldn't let me.
Good luck and let's make this site better than the other one.
