We recently sold our 2000 year model coach 571.  Always dumped on the driverside as our building was set up with dump station and it was on driver side.  Never had an issue, hooked the hose up flipped the switch above the connection and it dumped no problem.  Guy that sold the coach to can't get the air dump to release.  I am 3 states away, so can't just go look at it to help diagnose what is causing the problem.  He has disconnected the air to the value and completely dumped the air in the coach and still can't get it to budge.  I know he called Newell and still no luck.  Can't get it in to be looked at until November 1.

Any suggestions on what to tell him to do would be greatly appreciated.  I did tell them to join Newell Gurus as this website was always helpful for me to find answers when something went wrong.

We've been battling this for a year now, and really can't figure it out  We have a 2015 and the bedroom window is the openable Louvre with emergency exit.

Whenever the outside temp gets below 40, we really feel a chill pouring down onto our heads in bed.  I've looked at sources above the shade and have even stuffed batting into the 3 small access holes.  Didn't help.  You can physically feel the cold air sheeting down.

The other day, I had a conversation with a 2020 owner, who said he's never had a problem even when in sub-0 temps!

The only thing I can think of, is that the R value on our coach is a lot worse than the newer ones.  But, I've not heard any confirmation, and Newell says "gee, it shouldn't happen".

So, maybe some of you have experienced the same, or can at least comment on "why", before I try to figure the next step, like replace the entire window.

Thanks.

Hello,
Just sold our '08 Newmar Kountry Star with 400 Cummins, comfort steer, etc.  Got tired of maintenance issues cause by less than desired workmanship and/or design.  Trying to learn ahead of time (for a change) if upgrading to the custom built Newells would give more road time and less fixin time...  Our budget looks like an '05 to '07 would be doable.   Thanks you in advance for any suggestions - PLEASE!

Just wondering if any guru’s that are 3D printer buffs as I’ve got a couple small items that I’d love to have someone attempt to print.

1.) Those little covers that go over the weep holes on the windows.

2.) The covers that go over the nut that holds on the wipers.

Need to figure out a way to get those two items made out of anything but unobtainium!

Anyone have the proper replacement part numbers from Grainger, etc. for both of those motors?  Would like to get the parts and have them ready to go in vs. pulling out unit to check on exactly which configuration I need and then ordering.  Same thing on sourcing the correct capacitors.

Not the end of the world to pull it out first, but just trying to save time if someone has already been down this road.

While taking a short trip to TX, we lost a rear hub cap!  I searched trying to see if anyone has a replacement number and a source but haven't found anything.  Does anyone know where I can get another hub cap?  I checked here in Muskogee with our local Fleetpride but no help!  Said he had never seen on like ours.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Pam

Anyone have a source for new headlights for my '93 coach? Originals are yellowed and look dingy. I could polish them but I am sure the AZ sun will kill them in short order.

Anyone have info on coach 652?  I think it’s a 40’ center entry triple slide, interested in purchasing.
Thanks Steve Pillon
