Greetings!
My husband and I just purchased coach #497 (1998 45’) and we couldn’t be more excited! It is still at MOT getting some maintenance issues taken care of and new batteries before we make the trip from Iowa to Texas to get it. We are waiting for the title so that Newell will pass on any service records and the build sheet but if anyone has any information on this coach we would love to know it! Thanks for this forum, there is a wealth of knowledge on here and we are looking forward to getting to know everyone!
I'm looking at taking hwy 40 to Newell 3rd week of November. How is this stretch? I heard there is a real climb from Kingman to Flagstaff?
I hope to purchase a newell soon. I am not really sure it will ever happen, because truthfully my wife is not very excited about being out on the road very long. We have 10 grandchildren of which the oldest is 8 years old. I have farmed my whole life and my farm was my hobby. I am retiring and my son and brother in law are taking it over. We live 100 miles southwest of Houston, TX so it is a long way to mountains and a lot of other places I would like to visit. I feel like a 7 day trip would be a waste of time in a motorhome as I would spend way too much time driving. My wife wants to rent a motorhome for a few days to try it out. I do not think you would get much enjoyment out of 3 or 4 days of a rental. comments??
Hey guys, I just parked up and began to set up my coach (2004 quad slide) 3 slides came out no problem but one is not working, when I press extend says seal deflating but nothing happening.
Any help would be much appreciated
I received this info from Morgan at newell.
I have researched the numbers but don't find anything definitive.
Does anybody know of a credible business that can repair fogged windows on a Newell? Or, would installing new windows be a better choice? I have several windows when the sunlight hits them they are extremely discolored. At the moment my main interest is the driver’s side window and entry door window.
Electric Aquahot did not want to come on today on 458. Got as far as the fact that I don’t have power to my switch. Breaker is not tripped. Assuming there is something in between the breaker and my switch that is hanging me up?
Does anyone know where I can get a split front bumper for my 1984 Classic? It originally came with one but a previous owner replaced it with a single piece bumper for looks. The problem is that I have to take the bumper off to pull my generator out to add coolant or adjust the air/fuel screw or to access the gen set for any reason.
My BIL, Clarke Hockwald, found a rear bumper on Ebay for his 82 a few years ago but no luck there at the moment.

Hey All,
My coach has a KVH TracVision A7 flat antenna on the roof. I am missing the receiver/antenna controller and the remote. While i know it can't be used with Dir4ecTV any longer I would like to experiment with it.
I may have already found a receiver (KVH/Tracvision Mobile Receiver M10) and a Remote (HUGHES) that may be correct.
Has anyone replaced an A7 and, like me, packratted the components?
...as a Newell sighting but here we go:
Watching a documentary about Schumacher today on Netflix I thought I saw a couple of newell's and then I was sure those were Newell's (in Italy during 1994)
Attached are screenshots of the two Newells I saw. it was curious to know they were in Imola, Italy
How cool is that!
If you watch at that time you'll see it much more clearly than open the screenshots( timestamps on the screenshots
