My wife and I left WI this morning in a near blizzard.
Picked my coach this evening around 6.
The 8.3 cummins and 6 speed has much better acceleration than the 903.
Quieter, runs down the road nice.
No more smoky blue clouds when it's idling; very happy.
We are camped at the Quaw Paw casino in Miami.
We're going to stop in for a factory tour in the morning.

Just found this ,thinking of purchasing.. Has anyone seen these before.. Street legal . has a rear facing seat that goes up and down. Electric. Thought it could be fun at campgrounds and running to the store. 35 miles per charge.

Hi Guys and Gals,
Forgive me but I am not an RV owner; perhaps in the future. My question is of a residential nature. I have a well water purification system (installed in 1999). Long story, short....there is a JetpaQ pump that is working fine delivering the water to our faucets, etc. I'm wondering if anyone knows the replacement pump available for this pump. I did read something about Headhunter. I'm sure the JetpaQ has a life span and perhaps it's past; but, I'd appreciate any help identifying the replacement for this pump. I would not know the first thing about doing it myself and would also appreciate any advice on whether a plumber or only a water purification company would be doing this work. Perhaps I'm a bit pessimistic about how long these pumps last. Sixteen years in service scares me a bit. Thanks in advance. My first time on any thread, so let me know if I screwed up.
Does one check the HWH hydraulic fluid on a 99 Newell with the slides in or out. On my 02 Foretravel the front slide needed to be in and the rear slide needed to be out because of different mechanisms.

While attempting to get a replacement valve for my 93 coach's fresh water system I learned that my coach was built with polybutylene tubing for the piping for the hot and cold water distribution. This tubing was used from the 70's to the late 90's and is generally gray in color. It can be installed with either plastic fittings or copper as is the case with my coach.
This tubing has proven to deteriorate when exposed to chlorinated water. It deteriorates from the inside out so there is no way to see the failures developing. Apparently many houses have had to have the entire water supply piping replaced. Depending on how much exposure the piping in our coaches get to the chlorine, our piping will fail too. Minimizing exposure to the chlorine can take three directions: 1) use water with no chlorine, 2) with infrequent use of the coach, drain the water between uses, or 3) use a carbon filter to treat all incoming water. That is the approach I'm going to take since a lot of online sources say it will work and it is far easier and probably cheaper that replacing all my fresh water piping.
This was a heck of a surprise to me. I didn't see this one coming, but it's nice there is an affordable and easily implemented solution. So, if you have gray tubing you probably want to have a black filter.

We are in the early stages of a modest remodel. One of the things to change is the polished brass for all fittings and what not. We have the commonly used Grohe shower set in polished brass. You can still get cartridges for the thermostatic cartridge but the trim is long obsolete. I really don't want to change out the mixing valve because of the tight access.
I tried stripping the brass finish. A wire brush strips it, but the plating underneath is yellow tinted.
I looked on line and at several high end Grohe dealers for replacement trim in chrome. I could not find a replacement fixture, but I did find one source of individual replacement trim pieces. I would have had more in them than the coach is worth going that route.
I corresponded with Grohe. Their solution, buy the individual trim.
Today, we went into an out of the way showroom, and voila!. They had a display board with the obsolete design in the chrome finish. I asked if they could get it, but I was just baiting the salesperson. She came back with, "those numbers aren't in our system".
I asked if I could buy it. The answer "we can't sell it to you cause it's not in the system".
You know, a hundred dollar bill goes a long way to help with people's creativity.
If you need any replacement brass parts for the shower, I will hang on to them for a while.

Asking $50,000.

I would like to know how much coolant it would take to replace what I have in my 8v92. What the cost might be and what the PH should be. Not sure if it was ever done. I have 151K miles on the coach I have had it for 8 yrs now, the coach is 1989. Not sure if it has ever been done. Had the ph checked at Newell a couple yrs ago and was ok supposedly. First bottle of test strips was out of date and reading was way off suggesting I needed to change the coolant then but fresh bottle of strips showed ok whatever ok is.

Listed as being located in Houston. This MAY be sequence number 031 (VIN ending in 1011031), possible the last 1989. If anyone is interested in the coach and could verify the VIN, I will update my database.

We have replaced the Door Lock Actuators in our coach, But I am still looking for the small round locks that go in the doors. Have looked locally and not able to find them. Does anyone have part number/place to order these from? I would very much appreciate the information if anyone has it.
