We have decided to do away with the basement heat pumps one at a time, the new unit will be LG 24000 btu 2 zone for the front, might be a little over kill but better over kill that sorry I didn't. The first evaporator will go where the TV was in the dog box up front, it will be a 12000 btu LG art unit and the second will be the 12000 btu LG low profile console which will go in front of the small counter passenger side behind passenger chair. I could have gotten by much cheaper with a standard wall mount but Kathleen said make it look good your driving a Newell.

Last year we took a great trip, well mostly great (Thanks Richard and Tom!) that had us in various places between NY and Missouri with a stop in Ohio for a delicious day before thanksgiving dinner at Der Dutchman in Belleville, OH.

This year We've pretty much decided to go to the Kill Devil hills/Hatteras area of North Carolina.

I get two routes:

10 hr 2 min (555 miles)
via US-113 S and US-13 S

and

10 hr 43 min (646 miles)
via I-81 S

I'd love to take the Eastern Coast route rather than the Highway. Anyone know if there would be any issues with that? Height restrictions, bad roads, etc?? I am especially wary of the Chesapeake Bay bridge/tunnel combo it says 13'5" and I am unsure of the exact height of my 1996 Newell!

Love to hear what you all think.

Have a 1994 model year with the DD8V92 and allison trans.  It would not go into gear foward or reverse until I reved the engine up.  Impending failure or loose wiring?

On the Bode door cylinder I discovered the bottom needle valve leaking through the "O" ring.  Finding that leak drove me crazy for a bit.  The "O" ring was as hard as plastic so I had to dig it out piece by piece.  I replaced top "O" ring also which was not leaking and was still pliable.  These needle valves are used to soften the door stop point and keep it from banging, Bode calls it a "Cushion Adjustment".  The top needle valve adjusts the closing and the bottom needle valve adjusts the opening.  I used size 007 "O" rings.  See attached photo.

You can see in the photo the 10mm X 1.50 metric to 1/8"NPT adapters on the side of the cylinder.  I used a street ell on each and then a straight compression fitting.  The red and black tubing is 3/8" but I now have 5/16" tubing.  The 3/8" tubing was too stiff to work with in that small area.

The door valve in the photo is a Metal Work 7010021200 which replaced a leaking Airtec M-04-520-HN.  Both are 1/8" NPT and both work well in this application.  I have a spare Norgren V61R611A-A312JB which is physically larger and is 1/4" NPT.

We bought this to check the contacts on my lithium batteries in our house, the contracts between each battery it is very important to have a good connection and if not they will heat up. It is an amazing tool for the price, these cameras a few years back were $5000-$6000 dollars and only look and drool over but technology has really improved and you can own one of these for $300 on ebay, you'll have to wait a month to get it unless you want to pay extra to have one quickly then Amazon is your answer.
I actually got the camera the day I was troubleshooting my aquahot and been messing around with it for a bit, it will see through walls and yes it will see though the plywood in our coaches, you can see the aluminum and steel tubing in the walls under the plywood, with another person to run their finger over the wall you can pin point electrical wires to avoid and studs to screw to. The electrical and plumbing use is unbelievable, you can see under my sink where I just had the hot water running and the path it took through the lines to the drain. You can see the main breaker for the aquahot is drawing more current on one leg than the other. I just took a couple shots in our house and the coach and thought this a good tool to have. I watched reviews on this camera from the pro's and they say is best on the market for the money. UNT-I PRO model #UTI260B

Oh and for you gear heads, imagine finding which cylinder is not firing or an injector plugging up by looking at the exhaust port on each cylinder, if its cold its ignition or injector or if it hotter than the rest its lean.  Smile

I have been working on our coach with a vengeance there are many things wrong with it but we had 27 degrees last night and my heat pumps will not kick on which is on the list of repairs, so I turned on the aquahot which got hot and turned on the thermostats and all the fans came on but only heat in the galley register and my water tank is warm, the bathroom bedroom and closet has no heat. I unplugged all three relays and installed one relay at a time and all three pumps come on, I banged on the check valves as I've read and then took this thermo image of the pumps in operation, shows hot water is past the check valve but not returning on 2 pumps. Could there be an air lock?

Hello all I have a slide room (#3) that is tilted out at the top, and is where it should be at the bottom on one side. The other side of slide is in the correct position. This is in the extended position. Anyone have any thoughts?
